I don't think something is art if this first time it is viewed the response to the said viewing is "what the %$#* is that?" If someone has to that answer that question and say "Oh, that there, that's ART!" Maybe it's not art after all.
I know I'm not as sofistamacated as some of you folk, but if 95% of the population asking the above question I'm saying it's not Art. Drive by it with a kid. I promise you they won't say "cool", they will ask the magic question, hopefully without the explicative, then they will want to throw rocks at it.
