The Deep End

"I don't like your pool, it's too deep, and that shark will get me."

Who decided to call pool sweepers sharks? Did they have kids in mind when then named it that?

A new project.

I forgot to take a picture of this end of the yard before the project started. It was out of control. As a matter of fact if I had pointed a camera in the direction of this end of the yard Suzi the Soviet would have yelled "NO PICTURES, NO PICTURES." You might have thought a secret project was being done. If the project was a out of control yard you would be right. It was a mess down here taking up space in my little back yard. I hated it. I'm glad to be rid of it.

Busted

"What are you doing? I'm getting a cookie. How's about no roller blading in the house. Ok"

This was not the first time this rule had been handed down, and for some reason I think it won't be the last. Sam loves his rollerblades.

$183

You know what that is? That's the amount one would have to pay if someone in your car decided to undo thier seat beat and a police officer happened to notice such event.

If I'm going to throw money away, at least I want to be the one doing it.

Go Milk The Cows

That's my response to individuals who think life is too hard when we hand over a list of chores. Then I'll usually add to the "Go milk the cows" some other odd chores that one might need to do if they lived on a farm.

I'm going to buy a farm.

These three were standing on the otherside of my desk right after five o'clock telling me it was time for me to come watch them swim.

It just got a bit Louder Around Here

Sam started guitar lessons recently. He's loving it. "Hey Dad listen. I can play Batman." I guess that's where it all starts. Right there at Batman.

USA vs. China Soccer

The Boys, a couple of their buddies, and I went down to San Jose to watch USA play China in a "friendly." USA let them have it 4-1. Good game. We got there early and watched them warm up (which the boys watched closely, that photo of the boys was during warm up). I asked them if they wanted to go grab something to drink at that point, and they said no. They wanted to see how the teams warm up. These boys are big time players. After the game we played a pick up game in the parking lot with our pop up goals until traffic cleared. After that we headed over to Pizza My Heart for Dinner. Got home about 11:30pm. Made a great Saturday.

A Presidential Award

A Presidential Award! He did it! 4Th, 5Th, and 6Th grade he maintained a GPA high enough that qualified him to be given this award by Pres. Bush. He did it also in the Gifted and Talented program which (BELIEVE ME) is a much more rigorous program than the standard curriculum at Vinewood. Now he's off to Jr. High.

My Teeth Hurt

"Moooommmmm, it hurts to chew." Somebody got some grillz stuck on his head. I'm not naming names, but his face is right there. What happened to my baby boy. Have you seen him?

Someone Love's "Cheeze It's"

Because they are cheesy of course. She asks for nothing. Ever. She gets it herself. Sometimes that's good. Sometimes that's bad.

Home is Where the Heart Is

Sometimes I'm not so sure this wouldn't be a great life style. Got your land, got your port a potty (see it through the tree), got your bed, tv, and frig all in the same room. Got your American flag. Got yourself plenty of space for your kids to go outside and play in. I could retire a lot sooner than I'm currently planning.

You could go buy your own trailer and live next door. By next door I mean a few miles away. We could shoot at each other with our .22's. Man that would be fun. As long as your not a very good shot it would be fun. If someone actually gets shot we'd have to go with pellet guns.

If your in I'm in. I'm not kidding.

Crazy News Coverage

Could you imagine if a whale swam up stream to Sacramento and the whale snuck up there with TB! OH! Now that would be news.

Teacher Let the Monkeys Out!

Today is the last day of school for Patrick, Sam, and Hannah. Georgia already had hers. Next year Patrick is in 7th, Sam in 5th, Hannah in 3rd, and Georgia in Kindergarten. Everyone is in school! The all had a great year scholastically. I blog about that later when I have time.

This morning they have all been trying to convince Mom that they really don't have to go to school. "We won't be doing much." I said everyone knows if you don't attend the last day of school you don't advance. It would be a shame to get held back after getting such good grades, and so much hard work. No one believed me for a second.

Here comes summer!

Going to A BBQ

We are headed to a BBQ at a friends place. I had to quickly write this before I head out the door. I thought it was funny.

Georgia: Dad why do you have your swimsuit on? Me: In case I want to go swimming. G: Keep your T-shirt on ok. (Nice) M: Why? (I was ready for a fat comment here). G: Because you have hair on your belly. M: Should I care? G: Yes M: Why? G: Because it looks weird. M: Hmmm. What if I don't care. G: I don't know. M: I kind of like my hair. It's me. I grew it. I like it. G: Hmm it's just weird. M: Is it OK if I take off my shirt. G: Yeeesssssss. (a bit painfully). Hannah: Why can't he take of his shirt? G: Because he has hair on his chest. (Notice my hair has moved). H: So! G: Whatever.

And as quickly it started it ended.

Most likely I won't get in the pool, but it doesn't have anything to do with Georgia. I'm wearing my suit to keep my options open.

Yard Trashing My Own Home!

That tree has been up in the rafters of our garage since we moved in to our home. A gift I suppose from the former home owners. Suzi has said "get that thing out of here!" every time she spots it up there. Well it was in a difficult to reach spot and I think that is why the little piece of crap was left behind to begin with. Not until I riped down my garage cabinets was it easy to get at and finally remove. It's a talking Christmas tree!

So I took it down, and Patrick and I wondered how long it would take for Suz to find it if we put it next to the front door. Maybe a day or two? It took 30 minutes.

So tonight Patrick and I will find a new yard to hide it in! Pictures of course to be posted. By the way the chandelier that I thought we would yard trash ended up going to the dump and that's why I never posted pictures.

A New Chore

Patrick and I have decided to start a new project. About 3/4 through the demo stage I remembered to take "before pictures." I never remember the before pictures. I'm sure Suzi would prefer I not show you all any picture of our garage. I hate it too! That's why I decided to rip it apart. I'll show you after pictures if I remember. Patrick has been a big help in the demo stage. When I'm done I'm hoping it will be so nice you'll want to move in, or at least part you car in there.
